TGIF (Thank Goodness It's Friday)...

This weekend Caden and Cameron will be spending the weekend with Abuela and Pop.........check back for up date's on the weekend soon......... OK....the boys' are back home safe and sound!- It's Sunday nite' and I now have the time to update all on the weekend with " Abuela's Angels" as I call them. We arrived here "in the woods' as Caden would say (reason his other grandmother lives in the city and his great-grandmother lives off the main road both are only 5mins away form his home) we live approx 30 min drive from BV)- back home for Johnny and I- The boys' enjoyed a bit of the nice weather on Friday afternoon outdoors on the swing set and playing in the leaves that I have not had the heart to rake yet because the boys' love running and jumping in them. On Friday nite' we all enjoyed a dinner of hamburger's and "fry-fry's ( Cameron's word for French Fries) then it was playtime and bath time, story time and bedtime.

On Saturday, we enjoyed pancakes for breakfast, then it was off to ride the little tykes car's in the mud room and build Lego's. We also, enjoyed coloring pages from the Christmas coloring book and a few " disagreements" between the boys' (this happens from time to time(brotherly love)...and our little love taps...which will result in "time-out) not one of their fav. actives.
Cameron was down for his 2 1/2 hour nap........ So, Caden wanted to watch cartoons however, I did read to him for a short while. For dinner, we all enjoyed chicken breast, green beans, baked potatoes and applesauce. Then it was time for a short view of TV and off to bath time and bedtime...(Let us not forget about story time).

It was 8:00am the boys' are up and on the move , We had eggs, sausage, applesauce and toast for breakfast. Now, we must dress to go and get the Sunday paper with our POP in the BIG TRUCK( red pick-up 4 wheel drive truck)....That's an important event of the day if you ask the kids' they also, look for deer, cows and other animals. Now we are ready or playtime...........which was non-eventful........Cameron is off for his nap-nap as he would say. They both need "pil-doughs"or "pull-lows"(depends on which child you are talking to)- if you have not read between the lines- these are "pillows" to rest on or to take a nap and lots of blankets in the living room floor for "US" "to take a rest on". It looks as if we are having a BIG sleepover or PJ party.... Now, it's lunchtime....PJ sandwiches, banana and apple slices, milk. We are packing the bags to take the boys' home around 4:00pm. We really enjoyed the company...............Come Back Soon...
Love, Abuela and Pop

PS Photos' to be added soon...

Mommy, Mom, Mother....

Real Mothers don't eat quiche; they don't have time to make it. Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils are probably in the sandbox. Real Mothers often have sticky floors, filthy ovens and happy kids. Real Mothers know that dried play dough doesn't come out of carpets. Real Mothers don't want to know what the vacuum just sucked up. Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?' and get their answer when a little voice says, 'Because I love you best.' Real Mothers know that a child's growth is not measured by height or years or grade...It is marked by the progression of Mommy to Mom to Mother...

The Images of Mother 4 YEARS OF AGE - My Mommy can do anything!
8 YEARS OF AGE - My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!
12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn't really know quite everything. 14 YEARS OF AGE - Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.
16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.
18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out of date!
25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it.
35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get Mom' s opinion.
45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?
65 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with Mom.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair ... The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul ... It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

The Bear and the Pumpkin..

The title of this blog will be explained below: The first part of October my husband and I wanted to place Fall decorations at the entrance of the drive way. So, we place a large hay bale, scarecrow and potted mum, Halloween sign with a ghost and a PUMPKIN. After it had been up for a few day's on the way out I noticed the scarecrow and the pumpkin were missing- I look across the drive and there was my scarecrow laying in the road. You may ask- How did it get there- Well we have decided that "Our Friendly Neighborhood Black Bear" was out for his night time snack and he took the whole pumpkin with him and decided the scarecrow was not all that great and just left it. Needless, to say we replaced all items BUT not the PUMPKIN.

October Where did it go?

Okay, we start out with all the beautiful fall colors- now the leaves are falling from the tree branches. We celebrated Cameron's 2nd birthday on the 17th of October (now that was great fun). We attended two Fall Festival's with Caden and Cameron- Hayride's, games, great food, and prizes and candy for the boys'. LET US NOT FORGET JEFF AND LISA WHO CELEBRATED BIRTHDAY'S OR TAMARA AND JEFFERY'S ANNIVERSARY HOW MANY YEARS NOW??? 12 I BELIEVE. There were adventures to Kid's Corner Park and ice cream!
for the boys' (caden and cameron). Lilly is now over a month old and growing like a weed!! 13 pounds and counting!!-The little ones' Cade, Cam, Boo, Anna and Lilly all went TRICK OR TREATING........We had spider man, raggedy ann and andy, and a little pink pig!- Now, we are into cutting firewood for the winter which will be fast approaching.
